Introduction
Authors are requested to read and follow the below instructions carefully. So, ensuring as rapid and efficient as possible review and publication of their manuscript. SUJ editors have the right to reject/return the manuscripts that are not compliant with publication requirements/template and does not meet these given instructions.
The manuscript must meet the following terms:
- It is an innovative approach, and new insights into the problem/issue addressed.
- It clearly states and presents the research hypothesis/contribution
- . It has not been previously published in full or in part in any form of publication (i.e., journal, book, conference, or any other printed or electronic media).
- It is not under consideration currently for publication with another journal elsewhere. If it is so, an explanation has to be submitted to the SUJ editors.
- ll the authors have checked the manuscript and approved it for submission to SUJ.
- Summaries of theses, professional studies and books be accepted for publication.
- The Author should provide a short biography indicating his role and affiliation at the time of manuscript submission.
Manuscript format and template:
- The submission file should be in Microsoft Word format.
- The text should be in Simplified Arabic font with single-spaced and 12-point in size for English and Swahili articles, and 14-point font for Arabic articles.
- Footnotes should be 10-point in size for English and Swahili, and 12.4-point for Arabic text.
- All the captions and illustrations of figures, graphs, and tables must be written within the text at the appropriate place, rather than at the end of the document.
- The Arabic manuscripts should be submitted with both Arabic and English Abstract
- The whole text should adhere to the stylistic requirements according to the publication template (given on Submit a paper page), including title, author’s information, abstract, article body sections, results, discussion, acknowledgments, tables, figures, references, and footnotes.
Review Process
SUJ follows a blind peer review process, in which the editorial team, after receiving the manuscript, forwards the article to at least two reviewers related to the subject of the article, while removing the authors’ information (i.e. name, email, affiliation, etc.). Reviewers will check the manuscript thoroughly and give their comments on the status of the article which can be accepted, accepted with changes, or rejected. Accordingly, the editorial board will make decision on this and sends a final feedback to the authors by email. Upon the final acceptance of the paper, the authors will be notified with the full publication details. The withdrawn and rejected articles will not be returned back to the authors.
Copyright
Upon the acceptance of the manuscript for publication, if SUJ did not receive any advance request for manuscript withdrawal, it is implied that authors do agree to automatically transfer the copyright of the article to the SUMAIT University Journal.

The author's information (i.e., the names, email addresses, affiliation, etc.) submitted to SUJ or entered to this website will be used exclusively for publication and communication purposes only of this journal, and will not be made public or available to any other party or for any other purpose.
